To me it is a yes and no answer. Seems that it was only a hostile takeover when Inbev wanted to pay only $46.00 a share for Anheuser Busch...but when the offer came in much larger, all of a sudden there seemed to be no more complaining about it.
On a further note...
If you think Inbev is a pure belgium company, think again. It gets worse. There are more Brazilians on their board of directors than Belgiums. Again, another hooded disguise of the NAFTA cronies. Not trying to make this political, but it is what it is.
