Chopped

The daughter went and got her hair chopped off today. She has been growing it out for about a year now.
We are going to send it to wigs for kids. They make wigs for kids that are going through chemotherapy and have lost their hair. My heart breaks everytime I see a kid that has to deal with the ravages of cancer at such a young age.

That's awesome kerrcarto! I'm going to have to find my pony tail that I still have around here somewhere and send it to them as well. That's a great program.

Yes, I used to be one of those long hairs. Never a hippy though. Just a long hair conservative dude.

Dude, I had hair to the mid back when I was 15-17. I was a long haired conservative freak too.

Good for her! My daughter and her friends did that in honor of a classmate that battled cancer. It is amazing what a wig does for a sick kid's morale. You are raising her right!

CD, you'll have to wash the lice out of that old pony tail first, dude.

Good lookin' kid, kerrcarto. You're gonna be a nervous wreck when hits those teens.

Overalls and a shotgun Paul, that is my mantra.
Not for me, but her. BWAHAHAHA!

Bless her heart, that's wonderful. The Israelites would call it "a mitzvah." :-) I should probably do the same...my locks have gotten incredibly long (and they are mad thick, too) since I last saw you. Been letting my hair grow for the better part of the year, myself. Thanks for the idea.
