Megyn Kelly shouldn't judge other people!!

Greetings. Hope everyone is having a great summer. I haven't been online much these last couple of weeks because me and the kids have been camping, hiking, and beach bumming. School starts in two weeks so we're getting it all out of our system. I've got cool pics I'll share with you tonight or tomorrow.

Anyway, I was watching Fox News this morning and the Michael Vick story came up. If you don't know, he signed a one-year (maybe two-year) contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Here is my opinion (and I know it is an unpopular one). Michael Vick has served his time. He has paid his debt to society. He got fucked hard by losing a $135 million contract with the Falcons, all of his endorsements, fines, and two years in prison. He lost everything. Pedophiles have gotten off lighter than this dude. OK? So leave him the fuck alone!! And Megyn Kelly just goes off this morning while debating the topic with a woman who shares my viewpoint and a public defender who disagrees with the NFL and accused it of being low-class since they reinstated Vick. The woman called Vick's actions a "mistake" and I thought Megyn was gonna jump through the camera and slap that woman. From what I could tell, I guess Megyn thinks what Vick did was like the holocaust or something because clearly Megyn thought that the term "mistake" was not descriptive enough of Vick's crimes. You know what? After a man pays his debt to society, leave him alone!

Give him another chance. He has apologized and, quite honestly, I believe him. He talks different. He looks respectable, and I sincerely believe he has crossed over to a good path. I hope I don't eat those words but I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. While what he did was absolutely sick to the bone, he has been punished for it. Let him go for fucks sake. Now if he was some pedophile or rapist or murderer (of people) then I would hold a very different position. But I don't think what he did is deserving of lifetime banishment from society. He is a tremendous athlete and I wish him well in Philadelphia. Stay out of trouble bro!!

I've got some news for you Megyn Kelly, you're human just like the rest of us. Why don't you get off your arrogant pedestal and stop judging other people.

A mistake is forgetting to pick your friend up at work, filling out the wrong date on a check or shitting your pants.

I agree with you that he should be allowed to play football again. Leave it up to the fans to let Philadelphia know what they think about it with ticket sales. But to use the word mistake is kind of brushing off the brutality and assholiness of the whole situation. Whoops, sorry I made a mistake, can I have an eraser. Puuulease.

I would have a lot more respect for him if he would have told the truth and said "I murdered innocent animals for my amusement and to make some cash, I am truly sorry for what I did, I did my time and paid my fine ,now can I please get back to doing what I do best and that is playing football. I hope I can redeem myself in the eyes of the fans and people I disappointed and try to start making up for it by donating my first six months salary to the Humane Society."

I might have some respect for him if he did that. But to call it a mistake?

Yeah, I'm kinda on the fence with this one. On one hand he did do his time (not enough in my opinion) and payed his debt, but on the other hand what he did was so so brutal that I have a hard time looking beyond that part of the man. And yeah, using the word "mistake" is almost glossing it over. Made a mistake by getting caught or made a mistake by doing it in the first place??? He knew it was wrong and he knew it was illegal and he did it anyways. Like I said, I think he should have done more time than he did but he did his time regardless. Like kerrcarto said, the Philly fans and ticket sales will be heard louder than anything else right now.

I agree with the above. What other mistakes did he not get caught or prosecuted for?

Philly will probably love him.

Have to get in with you boys here.

If I were the owner of a foot ball team I would not hire Vick, because it would show the world that I approve of, and support a person that harmed animals intentionaly.

Megyn Kelly, you either love her or hate her. She will stick to her guns, she goes toe to toe with O'Reilly all the time.

Vick served his time, if the Eagles want him they can have him. I don't like what he did, but he went to court, they sentenced him, etc, etc. If he beats the Giants & Cowboys, they'll forget everything he ever did.

Yup. I knew I was in the minority on this topic.

Tina, you're right. Some good plays by him will erase memories. Funny how that happens.

Hell no he shouldn't be left alone!

With the huge amount of people who hate his guts, he should have a target on his helmet for every defensive back who wants to become an instant hero.

That's some good football right there! Between him and Favre wearing purple, there's a lot of defense ogres drooling to get some bone crushing sacks in, regardless of the NFL treating QB's like they're made of glass.

Quarterbacks should be treated like clay pigeons, not fine china.
