Saw these two mother fuckers in our backyard yesterday morning just before football. The kids went nuts they were so excited. Me? I couldn't pull my shotgun out fast enough. The camera was handy, though. I hate coyotes. Fuckers have killed all of my cats over the years. See how healthy they look? That's because they eat pets! Lots of pets! They are the reason why I absolutely refuse to own another cat. Fuck Coyotes! Fuck Obama, too (you know I just had to throw that in there).

And I agree about the coyotes. We lost a couple cats to those little bastards when I was in high school. Pretty brutal way to die. The only way to prevent that from happening is making the cats indoor only and that just sucks too.

A friend of mine was snow skiing and one was just standing down the way along the slope. She wouldn't go down, but other people were. A kid fell about 100ft from the coyote and it ran out and attacked him! Luckily he was protected by his heavy coat and gloves, but other people had to chase it off with their poles. DNR did come out and shoot it.
When I was out in Oregon (Sisters area) we would take them out with our 222 with a big scope. What fun!

Now my mom, she has fricking wolves in her back yard (thanks to their reintroduction in Idaho). She calls them "government dogs". Interestingly, the coyote population is down where she lives. And her dogs freak out when wolves come around. Yes, they eat pets too. Wanna know the best part? I guess wolves and coyotes have been known to cross breed to create what is called a "coywolf" - like a coyote, only bigger. How's that for nasty?
i like listening to them at night. they've never hurt any of my pets but i live kinda far out where there's lots of other stuff to eat besides pets. but yeah, the guys in my family have always shot them given the chance.
When my Aussie dog Jack was still alive he'd go batshit crazy trying to get at the ones that would come through our neighborhood.
Several times on walks he'd go after one if they were stupid enough to cross our path.
I don't really have any coyote stories. We have Rottweilers which I guess keep them at a safe distance.
But FUCK OBAMA anyway.
