Morning Catch

Dad sent me this picture this morning.

Eddy is a hunter for sure and he is getting damn big too! Those are 1 foot square tiles.
That cat has brought in at least 10 hummingbirds this summer (the only way we can figure he catches them is he ambushes them in the bushes) along with various lizards and a damn jackrabbit!

UPDATE: I just talked to dad and Eddy ate the squirrel (well from the ass to the rib cage anyway)! Eddy is a green cat.

Eddy is needed immediately in my yard. There is one squirrel that is stripping the bark of an oak tree in my yard and I need the squirrel dead, yesterday. I will come get him and pay a handsome rental fee...does he have any offspring?

No offspring. Won't your bobcat do the dirty work?

You would think so. Must be that my neighbors have (rapidly dwindling numbers of) goats and chickens, which are fenced in, making easier hunting than free range squirrels.

Wow. Eddie needs a friend. We have the perfect match. Spot, our little eight-pound female cat, is a killing machine too. But she eats the front end of her victims and leaves the ass end behind on the front steps or patio. It's a little annoying!

I can't imagine a cat being able to swallow a squirrel tail. Brace yourself for an epic cat puke!

Oh, and speaking of the ass-end of things, Happy FOD!!!

I'm impressed. Squirrels are nervous little things.

If Eddy catches "pretty rats", he's good.

Real good.

My indoor cat does three things very well: Shit, sleep and eat.
