Turkey Day Football

Yeah, my Cowboys lost but that was one of the most entertaining games between any two teams I've watched all year. Can't put all the blame on Roy Williams for fumbling at the end of the game because the Saints defender played that ball perfectly, and Terrence Newman got totally burned on the Saints' drive following the turnover. Yes, Cowboys would have won had Roy not fumbled. But, the Cowboys obviously have bigger problems. Coming into the game at 3-7, the Cowboys had a splinter of playoff hope by running the table and some help from other teams' losses. And they certainly played that way yesterday with heart, something we haven't witnessed in a long time. This team looks rather gritty under Jason Garrett and I like that. Maybe the 'Boys can become a championship team under Garrett in a few years. But at 3-8 now, this season is over. Time to play spoiler and maybe get some decent draft position for 2011. There are holes everywhere on this roster. Cowboys still get to play the Eagles twice before season's end, and nothing would make me happier than to see Michael Vick and company get their asses whooped. But, who am I kidding, Philly is on fire right now. Anyway, fuck you Jerry Jones.

What I noticed is that Jerry kept his ass in his suite, not on the field, in the fourth quarter. I wonder if he finally came to his senses a little bit? Nah...it won't last.

Harper, he stopped trolling the sidelines several years ago. I can't confirm this but I think that was one condition Parcells made when he coached the team. Jones' biggest problem is the fact that he completely sucks as a general manager. His grip on that team defies reality. Until he gets out of the manager's chair, it will be more of the same in Dallas.

In other news, I've got my money on your Redskins to whoop up on the Vikes this Sunday! Yeah baby!

Yep! Keep Jerry off the field and things would probably go better for them. Go Skins!
