Chip Chip Chippin' Away

Here we fucking go again...

MIAMI -- A shootout erupted in Miami as a police task force served a homicide warrant Thursday, killing two police officers and the suspect, authorities said.

On Thursday afternoon, Miami-Dade Police Director James Loftus identified the deceased officers: Roger Castillo, a parent of three children, and Amanda Haworth, a parent of one child.

Police identified the suspect as Johnny Simms.

A worthless piece of shit, who I'm willing to bet had a bunch of priors and was let out of prison by some pussy liberal pacifist prick who said he was rehabilitated.

And then there's this Democrat asshole:

Rep. Alcee L. Hastings (D-FL), condemned the acts of violence in an official statement.
"My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the tragic and senseless deaths of two Miami-Dade officers this morning," he said. "I have been deeply concerned about Florida's relaxed gun control laws and now more than ever it is clear that stronger gun control measures are needed."

It is? How is it clear that stronger gun control measures are needed when none of the facts have been released? Oh, that's right, you're a fucking shitbag democrat. Blame the gun, not the criminal. That's all you fucking democrats know. "More gun control. More gun control. Don't bother me with any facts. More gun control. That will solve the problem. Fuck! You! law abiding American citizen!"

Like a good little liberal, Rep. Asshole Hastings immediately calls for more gun control and blames "relaxed gun control laws" before any of the facts had come out about this unfortunate incident that left two police officers dead and two families in shatters. Does Rep. Asshole Hastings know where this bastard obtained his firearm? No. Did he steal it in a home burgulary? Did he trade it for dope? Did he legally purchase it after going through the background checks and jumping through the hoops? I will bet right now that the latter possibility doesn't apply, but we'll see...

I celebrate that the scumbgag Simms got blown away. I hope he suffered a painful death. I hope he has an eternity of misery in the depths of hell. Of course, I feel bad for the families of fallen officers Castillo & Haworth, but lets gets some facts and details about the dead suspect motherfucker before running out right away and infringing more on The Second Amendment. You fucking knee-jerk jerkoffs on the left are so gotdamn ignorant it's not even funny. Fuck you! Fuck you all to hell!

Here you go, CD. Background...

"Simms, according to state corrections records, was released from prison in September on probation. He had been imprisoned for armed robbery and selling cocaine and had a long rap sheet, police said.

Simms was wanted for the Oct. 16 murder of Cornelious Larry, 27, who was shot to death in a parking lot at an Overtown apartment complex at 1535 NW First Pl. According to Miami police, Simms shot Larry to death after the man began yelling and cursing at Simms' sister."

It'd prolly be simpler to enact Negro Felon Control laws.

They create a helluva lot more problems than guns.

Well, there ya have it. Armed robbery is a felony, which would have made it illegal for Shitbag Simms to be in possession of a firearm. As we know, however, criminals don't abide by the law of the land. That's why they're fucking criminals.

Thanks, Fukitol. Nicely done.

Fukitol, you beat me to it. I was just about to post the same thing, and make the same point that CD did. Gun control laws don't work because only honest people obey them.

The story points out that Simms was 23. Yet he still managed to accumulate a long rap sheet, and was on probation for armed robbery and selling cocaine. What the hell was he doing out of prison? Maybe Congressman Alcee L. Hastings (D-Miramar) should do something about that, instead of flapping his gums about more laws that won't do a damn thing to prevent incidents like this.

Yah, but check out the motherfucker that the assholes of Florida put in Office....

In 1981, Hastings was charged with accepting a $150,000 bribe in exchange for a lenient sentence and a return of seized assets for 21 counts of racketeering by Frank and Thomas Romano, and of perjury in his testimony about the case. He was acquitted by a jury after his alleged co-conspirator, William Borders, refused to testify in court (resulting in a jail sentence for Borders).

In 1988, the Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives took up the case, and Hastings was impeached for bribery and perjury by a vote of 413-3. He was then convicted in 1989 by the United States Senate, becoming the sixth federal judge in the history of the United States to be removed from office by the Senate. The vote on the first article was 69 for and 26 opposed, providing two votes more than the two-thirds of those present that were needed to convict. The first article accused the judge of conspiracy. Conviction on any single article was enough to remove the judge from office. The Senate vote cut across party lines, with Senator Patrick J. Leahy, Democrat of Vermont, voting to convict his fellow party member, and Senator Arlen Specter, Republican of Pennsylvania, voting to acquit.[1]

The Senate had the option to forbid Hastings from ever seeking federal office again, but did not do so. Alleged co-conspirator, attorney William Borders went to jail again for refusing to testify in the impeachment proceedings, but was later given a full pardon by President Bill Clinton on his last day in office.[2]

Hastings filed suit in federal court claiming that his impeachment trial was invalid because he was tried by a Senate committee, not in front of the full Senate, and that he had been acquitted in a criminal trial. Judge Stanley Sporkin ruled in favor of Hastings, remanding the case back to the Senate, but stayed his ruling pending the outcome of an appeal to the Supreme Court in a similar case regarding Judge Walter Nixon, who had also been impeached and removed.[3]

Sporkin found some "crucial distinctions"[4] between Nixon's case and Hastings's, specifically, that Nixon had been convicted criminally, and that Hastings was not found guilty by two-thirds of the committee who actually "tried" his impeachment in the Senate. He further added that Hastings had a right to trial by the full Senate.

The Supreme Court, however, ruled in Nixon v. United States that the federal courts have no jurisdiction over Senate impeachment matters, so Sporkin's ruling was vacated and Hastings's conviction and removal were upheld.

It's not the guns. It's Progressives, bleeding-heart Liberals and RINO motherfuckers that need to be outlawed.

Holy Shit. Leave it to the dems to repeatedly reelect a criminal.

I'd say the mofo needs to be targeted for defeat next electoral cycle, but I'm afraid I'd be blamed if he got shot.

You got that right about Dimocrats, CenTexTim.

And, notice back in '89 what kind of a steaming pile of shit Arlen Sphinkter was? Why he wasn't tarred, feathered and rode out of the GOP on a goddamn rail decades before the sumbitch voted for ObaMaocare is mind boggling.

Did anyone watch the vid of his momma? Made me want t ochoke the livin shit out of her. "My son was not an evil man" Bullshit! he was beyond evil. Yes, they were most likely gonna kill him, Florida has the needle, and if ever a walking scum bag needed it, he did. but honestly, the needle would be too good for a piece of crap like him. Mom should get the needle as well. She failed him, and above all she failed society in not straightening him out or making him dead.
He was a convicted felon, he was in her house, he had a gun. She is an accessory before the fact to the murder of two cops. She should get the needle as well.
