I have no love for Wal-mart but I did go with the straighttalk plan $45 a month unlimited everything and I am very happy with it ,the catch is I had to pay full price for the phone which in my case was 650 for the iphone5 but I can make that back fast only paying 45 a month for service

CD, I could not possibly agree more. Fuck Verizon.

Anonymous, don't be shitty about Wal-Mart (tho, I'd stay away from their meat counters), it ain't going away, and the "brick and mortar" shops are only too happy to fuck us with the internet sales tax in the name of 'fairness'. Nothing like them mom 'n pop stores cutting their nose off to spite their face when that ball of clusterfuck unravels itself.

Fuck D.C.!

Charlie Delta doesn't call me on the phone so I have nothing to worry about.

Say hello to the NSA Verizon peeps and everyone else.

The government has been listening to goverment employees for years...funny cause DHS/ICE uses Verizon Iphones. In fact they're probably monitoring what i'm writing now....

That's exactly what I ended up doing. Straight Talk is $45/mo. for unlimited everything and since I'm just a simple man and don't need the latest and greatest anything my phone only cost me $89. Now Verizon is trying to kiss my ass to get me to come back to them and they STILL can't beat that $45/mo plan. Not only that, I'm sick and tired of the 2-year contract bullshit as well. It's still too early to speak about how the service is though. I have a feeling it's not going to be the best...

lisakay-
The funny thing about the phone is that it works both ways. :) I still have the same number as I did the last time we "talked" on FB (about a year ago) when you told me that your computer had gone to shit and you were changing your phone numbah, so in all honesty the ball would be in your court dah-ling...

The government is listening in on a hell of a lot more than they would ever let us know about and I'm sure that includes all cell phone carriers that are out there...
